I gotta say man, the overwhelming tendency for youth and high school sports athletes to attempt to show their dominance over other players by getting all up in their face after a good play is really nauseating. Like, srsly kid, get over yourself.
Frank Ocean had a great quote that I feel is really applicable here.
Work hard in silence. Let your success be your noise.
I mean really kids, if you just made a great play, and if it somehow made an opponent look foolish, one of two things are almost certainly true: either you're playing in front of a big crowd, and everyone saw it, so everyone knows, so its really, really unnecessary, or worse, you're NOT playing in front of a big crowd, in which case, does it really matter anyway?
Just, get over yourself, and move on to the next play. Chances are outstanding you're not as amazing as you think you are.
