Today is a sad, sad day as a Tennessee Volunteers sports fan. We are losing Tony Vitello as our head baseball coach. I barely paid any attention at all to baseball before he took over the program here. The way he has transformed Tennessee baseball has been so much fun to watch. I am very sad to see him go, but honestly, might pay a little more attention to the San Francisco Giants now that he's headed out there. I now actually have a reason to watch more MLB (yeah, my wife is gonna love that).

Also, please hire Josh Elander to replace him. I'm sure there's some level of gamble to such a move, but it just makes so much sense. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't already been hired away from the Vols for another head coaching position. I'd bet he'll do a great job.

Best of luck CTV!! Go Vols! and Go Giants!
