There are six pools of five teams each for a total a 30 teams in the 14U division in this tournament. By far the biggest tournament we’ve played in this year. We currently sit as the five seed, but there’s still a bunch of games yet to be played. Tomorrow should be interesting.

That’s it for today. 2-1 isn’t too bad, but we could and should have beat that first team. We may see ‘em again tomorrow.

Touchdown to Elijah. Another unsportsmanlike conduct penalty cuz he stood over the guy on the ground and stared him down. Game over. 37-2.

Another interception. Stop throwing at Juice guys. 31-2.

Marshall had Hunter deep, and even hit him. Would’ve been a touchdown, but they called 4 seconds. Uuugghhhhh.

Defensive stop. We gave ‘em 2 pts. 28-2.

Interception, Juice. 28-0.

Touchdown + XP. 25-0 I think is what the scoreboard says.

First and goal.

Tried that hook and lateral again … didn’t work this time. 3rd down.

Stopped ‘em. This team isn’t very good. 18-0.

Touchdown + XP. 16-0.

Stopped ‘em. FINALLY! 9-0.

XP good. 7-0

Touchdown. XP pending …

Looks like offense is up first.

1-1 now, one more to go. Last game is here in a few minutes against Carolina Motion.

Scored a touchdown on the last play. They ran that hook and lateral play, Cole to David. I stopped recording because I thought Cole got touched when he let up. Didn’t even realize he had just lateraled the ball. David ran across a wide open field to score. That was kinda fun. 32-15 final. Ballgame.

They scored. 26-15 now. Defense is legit bad today. Absolutely have to be better tomorrow. They missed the XP.

Marshall intercepted. 26-9.

Interception. 26-6.

Touchdown, missed XP. We’re up 23-6.

Missed XP. We’re up 17-6.

We let a bad team score. They’re going for 2. Our defense didn’t show up today.

Touchdown + XP. 17-0.

Interception. 10-0. Our ball.

amazing catch by hezi for the XP. 7-0

Deep touchdown to Cole on the first play. Good start.

Offense up first.

Next game coming up here in a few minutes against a team called G7 CLT. Watched them play a game earlier. We should be able to beat these guys. Defense has to be better though.

I think the final score was 21-30. On to the next.

Ballgame. Our offense did enough, but our defense couldn’t stop em at all.

A minute to go, but I don’t think we can do this.

Not officially, but it will be. We’re outta time.

Touchdown. That’s gonna be ballgame.

First and goal. We’re toast.

Now they’re running clock.

Hunter lost his guy on a short pass, they almost scored.

Hudson dropped it. They stopped us. They’re up 23-21 now I think. We need a stop or a pick.

3rd down, c’mon boys

Got the XP, I think it was for two. I think it’s tied now. Our ball. Have to score.

Too easy. They had two guys way behind us. Touchdown. Ugh.

Touchdown + XP. 21-13

They scored. Missed XP. 14-13. Hunter going in on offense.

First and goal for them. C’mon boys.

Touchdown. 2XP. 14-7

They scored. Got the XP. 6-7.

Touchdown, missed XP. 6-0

First and goal

Offense up first, here we go.

last game just got over, team is getting ready to take the field.

A quick note about convention … when things are moving fast and updates are rolling in and I post a quick score update, I will always try to post OUR score first. For example, if I post and just say the score is 7-0, that means we are ahead 7-0. By contrast, if I say the score is 0-7, that means we are behind 0-7. Hope this clarification is helpful.

First game today is gonna be against a team called the Fort Mill Saints. Don’t know anything about this team at all. Don’t believe we’ve ever played them.

Lots going on at this park today. Crazy tons of people everywhere. Every field here is occupied and busy. Looks like a soccer tournament going on too.
