Man this league is absolutely cut throat. One off target or mis-handled throw and you’re toast. Too often that turns into one or even two more trying to recover from the first one, and before ya know it … the runner has scored from first. Ugh.

Aawwww MAN!! She made good contact with the ball and hit it fair, but the throw to first was on time but off target, so she ran off the baseline to avoid being tagged, and then ran around first without touching it. Bless her heart. Great effort girl!!

Oh man … big pop fly to left center field and our girl was SO close to catching it! She even got her glove under it and it just slipped out at the last second. Errant throws let a run score and the runner got all the way to third. 2-1 with a runner on third and no outs.
Pitcher couldn’t handle the throw from the catcher and let the runner scores 2-2.
Then a popup to first base for the first out. Great job girls.

Just my luck they started the game early while I was stuck in traffic. I missed most of the top of the first inning. The Rangers scored two runs in that inning, so we’re off to a good start today. Up 2-0 heading into the bottom of the inning.
