🥎 It’s a beautiful evening for some softball. Charis’s Rangers play the Marlins this evening. We’ve been working on her hitting a little bit lately. Hoping to see that pay off this evening. Let’s go Rangers!!
A single and a passed ball brings her home. Rangers win, 6-5. Yaayyy!! Great job girls!!
Lead off double to start the inning. Bring her home girls!
Marlins got one run to tie it up that inning. 5-5 through the top of the fourth inning. One run here should win the game (I think). Let’s go Rangers!!
Charis at second base here in the top of the fourth.
Strike out for the third out. We’re up 5-4 after three innings now. Come on ladies get ‘em out!!
💥🔥 Our turn, finally. Two-run home run makes it 3-4, followed by a double here in the bottom of the third with one out.
Then another two-run home run makes it 5-4. Way to go girls!!
Three quick outs here in the top of the third inning. All coach pitch from here on out. Need some runs here ladies!
Bummer. Batter hit a solid hit down the third base line that just barely rolled foul. Would’ve likely scored at least one run. Then she struck out on the next pitch. Left two on base. Uugghhh
OK we have two on with two outs here. Come on girls bring’em home! We need some runs!
sigh … even after her mom talked to her about this, she swung at every pitch. Ugh. Struck out on three pitches. Dang.
Charis up to bat. Come on girl!!
Nice. Three much quicker outs with no runs that inning. Come on ladies let’s get some runs!
Rangers down 1-4 after the first inning.
Another strike out. Their pitcher struck out three of our batters. We can’t let them do that.
Our girls just keep swinging at this girl’s pitches. They need to just stop. She doesn’t throw enough good pitches to let her strike ‘em out. Let her walk to the coaches pitch.
Strike out, then an RBI single. 1-4, great job girls!
Lead off triple for the Rangers! Let’s go girls!!
Three outs. Now hoped we can get some hits of our own. Come on ladies!!
Two outs … sco girls, one more.
Finally got an out, but a run scores. 0-4 with one out.
Big hit to right field ends up being a three-run triple. Still no outs here in the first. 0-3.
Marlins have the bases loaded here with no outs in the first. 😬 c’mon girls.
Charis is in centerfield to start the game, Marlins up to bat first.
