🥎 It’s a softball Saturday afternoon!! Charis’s Rangers will be playing the Yankees here in the next little bit. Let’s bring home a win today girls!!
Even with coach-pitch here in the third inning, we got two strikeouts. Game over. 0-10.
I’m grateful that at this point, Charis doesn’t actually fully understand it all, and doesn’t seem to care how bad these losses are.
Keep workin’ and having fun girl!!
sigh … 0-10. No outs at all. Mercifully, we get to switch sides.
0-8, no outs. The hit-batter and hit parade for the Yankees marches on. 😑
Charis in right field this inning.
Aside from hitting Charis, she struck out three straight batters. Just, not even fun. I feel bad for these girls.
I don’t think the other team’s pitcher in the first inning threw a single strike. Now they got an ace on the mound in the second inning that can’t hardly throw a ball. Good grief.
Charis hit by a pitch, at first base now. Way to hang in there girl!
Charis up to bat next.
😡🙊😑
Yankees take a 0-5 lead in the bottom of the first.
Little bit of a youth sports rant, so, buckle up or ignore, up to you.
if you’re gonna play on a travel team, don’t play on a rec league team.
When a rec league team relies on the small handful of travel team players on its team to be remotely competitive, you’re screwing your whole team when you don’t show up for them.
Just, my $.02.
Charis is at second base to start this inning, let’s go girl!!!
Forced out at home, no runs. Bummer. Missed opportunity there. Let’s get’em out ladies, bring back the bats.
Bases still loaded, but a strike out gives us two outs. C’mon girls we need some runs here!
Bases loaded with one out. Here we go girls, c’mooonnn!!!
Hit batter. Two on with no outs. Big opportunity here girls, let’s score some runs!
First batter base runner and we’re in business. Let’s bring her home girls!!
First pitch is a ball and we’re underway.
Charis’s team, the Rangers, are the visiting team today and will be batting first. Should be getting started here shortly, as the last game just got over.
Charis’s friend Hailey just hit an RBI double here in the game before her game, and now she just came in to score. Charis loved getting to see that! 😃
