Brigade boys got the overall #1 seed going in to bracket play tomorrow, finishing the day 3-0, with a point differential of +71. First game will be tomorrow morning at 11am.

So, I dunno the full story there, but apparently that last game didn’t count towards seeding tomorrow. That explains why they didn’t appear to take it very seriously. Didn’t realize that going in to the game.

They got it. We lose. 16-17 as time expires.

Touchdown. 16-15. They’re going for 2.

Under 3:00 to go.

There it is. Touchdown to Marshall. 16-9.

Defensive stop, 10-9. Our ball. 8:00 to go.

I honestly have no ideas how this team has 9pts. They have a defensive stop, and a TD with no XP. Sincerely don’t think that’s the right score.

Missed the XP. 10:00 to go. We’re down 8-9.

They used him as a decoy that time, and scored a touchdown to Juice.

They’re legit trying to get Marshall a receiving touchdown in this game.

Juice made a move, turned on the jets, got down to the 1.

Defensive stop. Our ball. 2-8.

Third down. Be nice to get a stop here.

Welp, it’s all fun and games until Titan throws an interception in the end zone. We’re now down 0-8.

First and goal. Strange things are happening.

Titan just completed a pass to Marshall.

XP no good. Down 0-6.

Touchdown. Juice thought he could get to it, and was wrong.

Third down.

They’re moving the ball. Lotta short, quick stuff.

This is a rowdy, trash talkin’ team. Hope our guys can resist feeding in to that.

This game is against another Cash Cow team, different one though. Looks like defense is up first.

The last game before ours just got over. Think we’re getting ready to get rollin’ here.

This place is starting to clear out pretty quick. Looking like we might be the last game of the day here. 😅

We’ve been lucky so far, the weather has actually been beautiful for us this evening so far. It’s looking a little bit ominous around us, but we may be OK for one more. 🤞🏼

Scores of these last two games will really help with seeding tomorrow. Big score differential.

Last game of the day will be at 7:30, so we have another little break here for a bit.

Turnover on downs. Ballgame. 43-8. 3-0.

Defensive stop. 43-8. Hunter going in.

Touchdown + XP. 41-8.

First and goal.

Juice just jumped up to the sky to pull down an interception. What a catch. 33-8.

8 minutes to go.

Missed the XP, 31-8.

Touchdown, Hezi.

Hunter going in.

Kid just made an amazing one-handed catch over Hezi for a TD. XP good. 25-8.

Great catch by Cole for the XP. 25-0.

Their defense is worse. Deep touchdown to Titan. 24-0.

Defensive stop. Better, better. 18-0.

Gave up a first down. Our middle is soft.

Missed XP. Still 16-0.

Big touchdown to David. 16-0.

Hunter is in.

Interception, right to Brock. He didn’t even have to move. 9-0.

Can we get a stop?

XP good. Up 7-0.

Touchdown, Juice.

Offense up first. Let’s go boys.

Last game is over, final warmups happening now. Come on boys, lock in. Let’s go 3-0.

Next game coming up here in a little bit at 6:30 against Minnesota Ice.

Ballgame. Won 34-6. Guess ya really had’a be here to understand I mean about the defense. The score doesn’t tell the story well. Defense isn’t playing well at all, beyond the score doesn’t tell, which ultimately does count for something I guess. But better teams will hurt us for that.

Missed XP. 34-6. That’s gonna be ballgame. 20 seconds to go.

Deep touchdown to Juice.

Sack, no XP.

Touchdown. 28-6.

First and goal for them. Defense sleep walkin’ again.

XP good. 28-0.

Phenomenal catch by Hunter, under two defenders, for the touchdown.

Big first down to Hunter. Dang he almost scored.

We’re up 21-0.

And of course as soon as I say that we intercept in the end zone.

I just can’t see us going deep in this tournament. Our defense just doesn’t have it.

We’re up 19-0.

Missed XP. Marshall isn’t seeing him today. Hunter was wide open in the back of the end zone. Dangit.

Touchdown to Hezi.

He made up for it. Just blocked a pass and intercepted it. 12-0. Hunter is in.

First and goal now.

Cole got us a nice pass break up on defense, and then got us a penalty for a first down for talking trash after the play. Nice.

Touchdown + XP. 9-0.

First and goal.

First down.

Third down.

Stopped ‘em on D. Our ball. 2-0.

Defense first.

Next game on deck. Playing I think they’re called Cash Cows Elite. Have to be better this game.

Hunter got one series in that game. Good opportunity here for him to mentally reset.

Ballgame. That was way closer than it should have been. We win, 23-15.

23-15

They dropped it in the end zone. Could’ve had it. We got lucky.

Third and goal. Game on the line here.

Sack. Come on boys.

2:40 to go and they’re about to score, making it look easy against our defense.

First down. Ugh.

Third down.

Stopped. Couldn’t make it happen. Their defense is better than ours. 21-15. We can lose this game if our defense doesn’t wake up.

Third and goal at the 1.

First and goal.

Third down and about 2.

Deep pass to Juice broken up in the end zone.

Stopped the XP. 21-13.

Touchdown. Too easy.

First and goal. Defense is … off … so far.

Missed XP. 21-7.

Touchdown to Cole.

Another sack. Ugh.

First down.

False start. Third down.

Sack. Hunter was WIDE open.

Hunter is in.

Got the XP. Official score is 15-7.

Defense let a guy way behind ‘em, then missed the tag. Touchdown. 14-6.

Missed XP. We’re up 14-0 I believe.

Touchdown, Juice. Going for 2.

First down at the 12.

He’s back out. Mixup I think.

Hunter going in.

Interception, Juice. 8-0. Our ball.

Big touchdown to Hudson. He slipped and fell and we missed the XP. We’re up 6-0.

This team is also orange and black. Ugh.

Offense up first.

We’re playing a team called Matthews Elite, a 13U team. Never played them before.

Both teams are huddling at midfield for the coin toss.

OK game before us just got over. Think we’re about to get going here.

Team is all here, players and coaches, and they’re starting to get warmed up now. Here we go boys!! 💪🏼🔥

Weather is a little sketchy so far today. Not terribly bad but a little rainy. Hunter’s first game isn’t until 5:00pm, and it’s looking right now like it might clear up and just be overcast by that time, but we’ll see, I dunno. Hoping it’ll at least be dry for the boys this evening.
