Church Notes - 8/23 @ Faith Promise

Game Plan

• Today is all about Groups

• Acts 2:46-47

• Daniel 1:6-7

• We need to surround ourselves with people who can remind us of who we really are if/when we start to drift from the path that God has called us to.

• Daniel 2:17-18

  • Daniel called his friends by their God-given names, not their babylon-given names.

• Daniel 3:17-18

• … but even if he does not … ‼️‼️ this level of faith and trust is so incredible, I love it

• Under pressure, you don’t rise to the occasion, you sink to the level of your training.

• Man I love this story of these guys so much

• Daniel 3:24-25

• Romans 5:8

• The Oxford Martyrs - read up on these guys, sounds like an interesting story.

  • Be of good comfort Master Ridley, and play the man; for we shall this day light such a candle, by God’s grace, in England, as I trust shall never be put out.
