Serious question: why do so few high school stadium scoreboards or scorekeepers seem completely incapable of keeping up with and showing the down and distance. The scoreboards have the fields for it. Seems like they ought to be able to maintain that information. I haven’t been to a game yet this year where the scoreboard was able to show those details.
