McKenzie down with a cramp. 0:52 to go in the third.

Really wild and confusing sequence here. Grace called for holding, Lions called for a personal foul, they moved the chains but said it was third down, we stopped them for a short gain but then they said it was second down, now it’s third down. Nobody really knows what’s happening right now, apparently including the refs.

Teams getting warmed up. Grace will be kicking off to the Lions here in just another minute or so. Let’s go boys!

Odd feelings about this game so far. Offense looks a little bit better than they did last week, but still struggling with some things. Scored 17 in the first half, that feels better. The short/quick screen passes to the boundary appear to be there, but we’ve not been able to connect on those so far. That feels like it could help.

Defensively is where I’m the most torn. Generally the defense feels much better than it has. On the other hand, we gave up 39pts in the first half, which feels ugly. We have consistently gotten better pressure on their quarterback and have mostly kept their run game in check.

Overall, a generally respectable first half from the Lions against a very good, mature AA team. Keep working hard in the second half.

Grace’s field goal attempt is good. Grace leads 39-17 at halftime.

3rd down Grace at the Lions 14 with 0:05 to go.

2nd and 20+ for Grace with 0:32 to go in the half. Timeout.

Lions punt. Grace takes over at their 46 with 1:05 to go. Come on defense.

I spoke too soon, my fault. Touchdown Grace. Lions jump on the XP, 2pt conversion good. Grace’s leas back up to 36-17. 1:54 to go in the half.

Lions defense playing inspired football this evening. Given up some big plays on the backend, but ultimately playing better than I’ve seen them play all year so far.

Sisco’s kick returned to the Grace 42 where they will take over.

3rd and 6 from the 10. Come on boys!!

Lions get a HUGE strip sack and recover at the Grace 14yd line!! First and 10 Lions!!

Lions saved from a huge gain by a block in the back. Grace will have 3rd and long. Come on defense!!

Grace called for holding on the return, will take over from their 19.

End of the first quarter, 4th and goal Lions from the 7.

First and 10 Grace at their 38.

Grace won the toss and will receive. Defense up first.
