Church Notes - 9/27 @ Faith Promise

Conspiracy of the Cross

  • 1 Peter 3:8-9
  • We only get the blessings, when we live the life, walk the walk … when we’re obedient
  • Our issue is rarely about competence, it’s about obedience
  • Psalm 34:12-16
  • 1 Samuel 21 (didn’t catch the full reference here)
  • 1 Peter 3:15
    • We need to understand what we believe. Seems obvious, but too often taken for granted. We have to be able to defend and explain what we believe.
    • Give an answer to those who ask - well, nobody is gonna ask if they’re not impacted by the way we live. They won’t care enough to ask.
  • 1 Peter 4:7
