Shootin’ with the boys

Life gets so busy. This is something I’ve been meaning to do with the boys for a long, long time. Just seems like the older I get, the less time I have.

Nevertheless, we were able to get out to the range to do some shooting the other day. Little bit of plinking with my dad’s old .22, and then got to do some sighting in of a nice little .243 that Crys’s uncle gave me for the boys a couple of years ago. Nice little fun, and it shoots pretty good!

I’d like to get out with it maybe one more time with some optics this time (forgot my spotting scope the other day), and get it really dialed in. But I feel decent about where we were able to get it to the other day.

The boys seemed to enjoy themselves, and I certainly did. Nothing like getting out and doing some manly stuff with the boys.
