Been a wild, busy day with not a whole lotta football watchin’, but, finally getting around to some now. Celebrated my daughter’s 9th birthday this morning (happy birthday my little lady!!), and spent way too long in a wireless service store getting upgraded, and how it’s beggar’s night, so, yeah … Happy Halloween everyone.

Holy crap, srsly?!! I just watched back-to-back 60 yard field goals … in a COLLEGE football game, to send Minnesota vs Indiana to overtime? Are you KIDDING me?!
I was blown away watching Minnesota hit the first one, and thought sure the game was over and they were gonna win. The game was over.
Then Indiana turned around and gave themselves a shot!! Charlie Becker happened! They went and made their own 60 yarder as time expired to send it to overtime! Holy crap!
Then IU scores a touchdown on the first play of overtime and it was over. Minnesota, your defense needs to be better. Indiana wins.
What a wild finish in that game. Wow.
Not gonna lie, I wasn’t expecting much from my Ducks today. Been such a disappointing, up-and-down season so far. Just couldn’t imagine them actually pulling it off today against a good Northwestern team with Chip Kelly, on the week they fired their offensive coordinator (not complaining, that had to happen), Messiah Hampton was arrested, etc, etc. Just, didn’t inspire a whole lotta hope.
Then, our top two running backs go down, and we get down 20-6. Yeah, things felt pretty bleak man. Right about where I expected to be.
Then, Brandon Smith happened. And some things started clicking. And before you knew it, 20-6 turned into 34-26 and the Ducks pulling off a big ole win! Like, wow. I did NOT see that coming, haha. Nice!!
